Our Story

Since our beginnings in 2002, the Uplands’ story has been one of steady growth, where some 85 per cent of new projects are from referrals or clients coming back for more.
Over the years, we have managed thousands of projects, big and small, from stand alone to national roll outs. Today we are the ‘go-to’ contractor for a wide variety of large corporations and independent developers.
The Uplands Difference
No matter the brief, meeting client needs sits at the core of all that we do. We successfully deliver on projects all over the UK, adhering to the highest standards and looking beyond the obvious so we add value wherever possible.
In 2018 we earned Chartered Building Contractor (CBC) status from the Chartered Institute of Building; industry affirmation that we are a trusted resource and committed to best practice.
And it seems our clients value us not just for the consistency of our delivery. They tell us that open communication and transparency is what sets us apart.
All five directors get fully involved, helping to see a project through to completion. They work alongside dedicated account and project managers who consider both the client challenge and the surroundings we’re operating in.
Whether client, fellow staff member or supplier, at Uplands we believe wholly in partnering. We operate within long-term framework agreements, successfully integrating project teams, risk sharing and setting KPI’s in order to measure performance, all of which helps to bring a project in on time and within budget.
